Urban inspiration at the Park of the Nations
Together with my colleagues of the Marie Curie Re.Ad. network, we could organise the last international meeting in a city of choice. After a lively debate, Lisbon prevailed over Barcelona and Iceland. Although the city centre is beautiful and worth visiting, I appreciated the area of the Parc of the Nations the most. I took a two-hours walk the last morning, in the area developed around the station designed by Calatrava. I was fascinated by its architecture, and enjoyed the the walk under an unusually warm October sun. I plan to go back to expand my visit to other regions, and of course to pay a visit at the ocean.
